One of the many wonderful aspects of Greene County Schools is the relationships that are built here.Our teachers, staff, and administrators take the time to get to know students both inside and outside of the classroom. Our goals and objectives are grounded in our common belief that all students can learn and experience at the highest of levels. It truly takes a community to raise a child.

We are excited to continue our great work as we enter year two of our five year comprehensive plan.We are also engaging in our second year of William Monroe Academy, a school-within-a-school concept focusing on 21^st century skills through core content and career exploration.There are new Standards of Learning in both English and science this year, and we continue to develop and revise curriculum, assessment, and instruction in all subject areas at all grade levels.We are dedicated to providing both direct and indirect support to teachers and staff to support continuous improvement in educational quality and student achievement.
