Welcome to GCS Office of Instruction! The 2009-2010 school year is going to be a great one! Our administrators, teachers, staff members and, most importantly, students, are dedicated to success in the classroom. We encourage you to visit our schools and learn more about the many positive things happening instructionally. For example, each school has developed goals designed to meet the specific needs of all students in all grade levels. Teachers and administrators worked hard during the summer to update pacing guides, benchmark assessments, and  curriculum guides. Pacing guides and curriculum guides are available for your review at individual schools. Greene County Public Schools utilizes a proactive, whatever-it-takes approach to instructing students. We are working hard to ensure learning for all and are confident that our efforts, and the efforts of our students, will result in continued academic success at all levels. We are committed to making this happen and appreciate your support and participation in this endeavor. Please feel free to contact any one of the Office of Instruction staff personally if you have questions or suggestions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Richter
