Greene County Public Schools held its first Educator of the Year Ceremony at William Monroe High School on Thursday, May 28, 2009. The recipients were Hope Harlow and Diane Kenney. Each winner received a check for $500 along with a trophy. This award and event was sponsored entirely by Marianne Shepard of Edward Jones.
