The past school year ended with much excitement here at William Monroe.  Our Boy’s Baseball Team brought home a big State Championship in June.  They worked hard all season and were rewarded with great success. We are very proud of them.  Our graduating class for 2012 earned a record amount of scholarships (over 1 million dollars, including military grants).  What a great achievement!!

 We are also very excited about the 2012-2013 school year.  Our academic goal, as always, will be to provide as much opportunity as possible to our students, engaging and challenging them in their learning, and equipping them with the skills that are necessary to be prepared and successful in college or their chosen career.  We will also focus on extending student literacy (reasoning, speaking, reading and writing) through various methods and strategies incorporated into every classroom.  Our changing world requires differing skill sets for success in the 21^st century and we will strive to prepare our students to have the skills to adapt to these ever changing challenges.
